Alvaro Dowling completed his education in “Universidad de Chile” followed by his specialization in Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. With over 18 years of experience in the area, nowadays he serves as Director of the DWS Spine Clinic Center of Santiago and Sao Paulo, as well as being visiting professor of Ribeirao Preto Faculty at the University of Sao Paulo. He served as President of SICCMI and is a member of the North American Spine society. Dr. Dowling has been an editor and author of various Publications in medical journals such as International Journal of Spine Surgery, Multidisiplinary Digital Publishing Institute, Dove medical Press, among others. He has also collaborated in book publications such as the Endoscopic Spinal Surgery.
